- CARE WITH US arranged emergency respite within two hours. A support worker (SW) was assigned to assist Mark with check-in, provide a tour of the facility, and answer all his questions, offering him immediate relief and a sense of safety.
- The SW worked closely with Mark to set new goals. They focused on finding new job opportunities, providing guidance on job searching, resume building, and interview preparation. This approach helped rebuild Mark’s confidence and opened potential career paths.
- Recognizing Mark’s goal of finding a new place to live, the SW assisted him in researching housing options that fit his needs and budget. Together, they found a suitable place near his prospective new job, symbolizing a fresh start for Mark.
- As Mark continued to navigate his journey, his funding under Short-Term Accommodation (STA) ran out. CARE WITH US extended their respite services for an additional week, free of charge, to provide Mark with the necessary time to finalize his new living arrangements and secure a reliable support coordinator. This extension was crucial in ensuring a smooth transition without the pressure of immediate relocation.
