Lost Someone to Cancer? Here’s How One Cup of Tea Can Help You Heal and Help Others
May 23 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Grief is a journey that looks different for everyone—but one thing is certain: no one should walk it alone. If you’ve lost someone to cancer, you understand the mix of heartache, longing, and unanswered questions. On 23 May 2025 in Epping, there’s an opportunity to turn that pain into purpose at the Morning Tea Epping – Cancer Council event.
Held in loving memory of those we’ve lost and in support of those still fighting, this event reminds us that even small acts—like sipping tea together—can lead to big healing and impact.
A Personal Story, A Shared Purpose
The inspiration behind this event is deeply personal. The organiser lost their beloved grandfather to cancer. His passing left a space that words couldn’t fill—but it also sparked a mission: to create a space for remembrance, support, and action.
By coming together, we keep the memory of our loved ones alive while raising vital funds for the Cancer Council’s work in research, prevention, and support services.

- 💛 Every donation funds life-saving research
- 💬 Awareness campaigns reach more Australians
- 🤝 Support services continue for patients and carers
You’re Not Alone
